Productive Playfulness
leapday helps people to be more playful, at work and in life, through our corporate offering, our school, and through Leapclub, the community for playful adults. We've facilitated over 2,000 hours of adult play and counting!
How can we help you play more today?

F.A.Q
What will I learn?
leapday teaches long-form improv with a focus on behaviour. Our motto is: Slow, Stupid, and Obvious. The philosophy incorporates elements of clowning and aims to simplify and anti-intellectualise the concept of Game.
Who runs the classes?
Currently, the majority of leapday classes are taught by founder and lead player David Elms. You can read more about David here. We always advertise the teacher/coach on all of our events. Check the info on each event to be sure.
Where are the classes?
Most of our classes and courses are currently taking place at Theatre Deli in the City of London. Check the info on each event to be sure.
What is the member discount and how do I get it?
All leapday events have a discount for subscribers of Leapclub. Jams are typically 50% off, and classes and courses are 10% off. Subscribing to Leapclub costs £3/month (there's currently a 100-day free trial). Read more about the subscriber benefits and subscribe here.
I'm a complete beginner, which class can I attend?
Any! All leapday classes and jams are for all levels of experience unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Really?
Yes!
Can you notify me when new classes and stuff are happening?
Pop your email address in the form abov eto join our mailing list. Or follow leapday on instagram at @leapdaygram! Also, members of this website will get updates by email when new classes are put on sale.
Wait, wait. Members? Subscribers? I'm confused.
I know, I know. Anyone can become a 'member' for free just by putting in their name and email address. For discounts and more you subscribe to Leapclub. Sorry. I'm working on a way to make everything less confusing, but it turns out websites are difficult and fiddly.
I want to take a class/attend a jam but I'm struggling financially at the moment. Can you help?
Email David and we may be able to help, depending on the class in question.
Are there performance opportunities?
leapday is more focused on helping adults practice playfulness than training them to become performers right now, so the focus is currently on closed classes, jams, and rehearsals. Having said that, Leapclub subscribers get the opportunity to perform in front of audiences as part of our rotating house team Lizard Brain.
What if I can't attend?
Our terms and conditions are here.
Do you have a code of conduct?
At the start of any leapday event, your coach will make expectations clear. Written code of conduct is also on our website here.
What about a privacy policy?
You can read our full Privacy Policy here.
I'd like to run a workshop on something playful and specific that I think would appeal to leapday students. Can we talk about it?
That's great! Email David.
Still have a question?
Email david@leap-day.co.uk - he'll help you out!
